Dr. Gregory L. Smith, MD, MPH
Dr. Smith is board certified in Preventive Medicine and veteran of the US Army, achieving the rank of Major. He has been involved with the medical use of cannabis for over a decade. He has published over a dozen peer-reviewed scientific articles and has published extensively on the subject of medical cannabis. He is the author of “Medical Cannabis: Basic Science and Clinical Applications – What clinicians need to know and why.” by Aylesbury Medical Press. This is the first book of its kind directed at educating physicians and medical students on the practical use of cannabis for medical purposes. Dr. Gregory Smith, MD, MPH earned his medical degree from Rush Medical School in Chicago, and a Masters of Public Health from Harvard University. Dr. Smith is inspired to help other physicians and medical professionals develop strong knowledge about medical cannabis, to better both their patients’ lives and the practice of modern medicine. Dr. Smith is an avid writer, having published four medical textbooks, a novel entitled, Malpractice, and articles with many magazines and over a dozen peer reviewed medical publications.
