Hugo serves as Chief Strategy Officer and managing partner for Treevana as well as Treevana Remedy, a Class II vertically integrated Georgia Medical Cannabis licensee. He is an invaluable metrics-driven strategist and provides deep domain expertise that specializes in assembling agile teams and employing winning strategies in the highly complicated legal cannabis industry. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom in support of Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center / Marine Air-Ground Task Force Training Command and holds a Degree in Business with a Minor in Economics from National University San Diego. Previously, Hugo was Director of Strategy for Regional Medical Group a patient-focused medical platform with 19+ locations in Georgia, and was also Director of Strategy for PCR-Dx a molecular testing laboratory platform that provides medical professionals with personalized molecular testing solutions for viral, bacterial, and fungal pathogens with testing centers in Alabama and Georgia. He is also the Co-Founder and Director of Strategy for Treevana Wellness, a hemp-based platform that has partnered with highly respected physicians who advocate the use of hemp-based cutting-edge treatments. Hugo also sits on the board of Holistic Hope a 501c3 nonprofit organization, committed to the research, development, and investment in evidence-based medicines, therapies, and new technologies. Hugo is also the Co-Founder of iBoss Ventures, a strategic technology management company with a focus on developing innovative digital technologies, and the Director of Strategy for CardConnect – FDIS-Tampa, an interchange management technology platform under First Data that provides SMBs and Enterprises with simple and secure industry-leading tokenization & P2PE.
